IFRA Calculator

Fragrance ingredients are governed by the IFRA Standards — a category-by-category set of restrictions covering sensitization, phototoxicity and other safety concerns. The IFRA Calculator gives your formulator a rapid pre-screen against those limits before requesting a formal IFRA certificate from the fragrance supplier.

Pick one of the 12 IFRA product categories (skin contact: leave-on, rinse-off, lip products, intimate-area, baby products, etc.). Add fragrance ingredients row by row — each row autocompletes against the INCI catalog with the matching CAS — and declare the % w/w in the finished product. Each row is checked against the IFRA standards library and shown as pass / over-limit / prohibited / unrestricted with the applicable category limit.

Calculations can be saved per user for later reload. The same logic also runs server-side as a contract-validator check during full formula assessment, so a green status here is consistent with what the formula report will show.
