INCI Explorer

The INCI Explorer is a searchable encyclopedia of over 33,000 cosmetic ingredients. For each entry, you can see the official INCI name, CosIng function classification, EWG safety score, EU and multi-market regulatory status, CAS number, molecular weight, logP (solubility indicator), and Hansen solubility parameters.

Beyond static data, the Explorer shows how each ingredient is actually used across thousands of real formulations: typical concentration ranges by product type, common co-ingredients, phase assignment patterns, and frequency of use. This gives your formulator a data-driven foundation for every ingredient decision.

The Explorer also serves as the entry point for enrichment: molecular structure visualization, PubChem cross-references, KEGG biochemical pathways (for bioactives), and gene target associations. For plant-derived ingredients, it links to the Botanical Intelligence module for full phytochemical profiles.
