COSMIC packages four distinct workflows into a single Peptide Explorer page.

Explorer tab: browse a curated catalog of 593 cosmetic-relevant peptides. Each entry includes the sequence, molecular weight, mechanism of action, published efficacy data, recommended concentration range, formulation compatibility notes, and regulatory status.

Designer tab: enter a target biological activity (e.g. 'anti-wrinkle', 'firming', 'brightening'), and the platform suggests candidate peptide sequences based on published structure-activity relationships. For each candidate it provides stability predictions, solubility estimates, and formulation recommendations.

AMP database tab: search the DRAMP antimicrobial peptide catalog — 19 000+ natural and synthetic AMPs with experimental MIC values against eight reference organisms (S. aureus, E. coli, C. albicans, and more). Useful for preservative-free formulation research.

Reverse Search tab: flip the question around — 'which peptides match this target function?' Pick antimicrobial / antioxidant / anti-inflammatory / hair-growth / brightening etc., and the tool returns peptides ranked by published activity on that axis.
